          Chameleon afore time began to race
With colours stood arrayed to paint His grace
And all gods in furnace emerged to feast
Olu-Orun with lightning through far east
          Proclaimed His might to seas and rifts of earths
And clay to mould His man to fill the dearths
Ela and Father called gods to descend
To earth for man to live to till and tend
          Olokun, like Poseidon, Zeus, to fight,
Thus roared ‘gainstOlodumare to fight
No troop save Agemo trooped earth to wait
And Olokun tie-dyed, he did replicate
A servant-artist, thus God glorified
          And gods descended; and God’s satisfied.
