Gbenga Daniel said he has no presidential ambition

The former governor of Ogun State said that he has no ambition of becoming the president of Nigeria. He said this in a chat with journalists before his 60th birthday. He said he would rather remain an elder statesman giving advice to politician. The elder statesman then re-affirmed that all allegations that he took $3m of state funds and N1bn of local government funds were all lies as he revealed that the worst moment of his life was when he was arraigned by the EFCC.
